Centre Stage
Centre Stage is the Rural and Community Touring Scheme for Leicestershire and Rutland bringing opportunities for professional live touring to village and community venues throughout the two counties.
Centre Stage's Touring Programme is distributed to voluntary group members twice a year - in April and October - giving details of shows and artists available along with a whole range of information which help promoters to choose tours most appropriate to their local venue and local audience. Groups select their shows, after which dates are allocated and a tour schedule produced, along with a seasonal leaflet.
Centre Screen is a community cinema scheme which enables you to show blockbuster or archive films in a venue on your doorstep.
Volunteers within the community select their film, book the venue & sell the tickets & Centre Screen provides the technician & state of the art equipment to run the screening. It is managed by Phoenix Arts, Leicester.

Find Your Talent
Leicester and Leicestershire have been chosen to run one of 10 pathfinder projects as part of a national £25million Government programme called 'Find Your Talent'. The aim is to involve Leicester and Leicestershire's 250,000 children and young people in five hours of cultural activities per week - from film-making to museums. This will be acheived by recruiting a team of Young Ambassadors who will work to devise and deliver cultural activities across the City and the County. Learn more about Find Your Talent
