Historic parks and gardens are listed in a similar way to buildings - with Grades I, II* and II entries on the Register of Parks and Gardens.

As with listed buildings, the selection is made nationally - not by us.

Inclusion on the register does not bring with it any additional planning controls - but is a material consideration when deciding planning applications which affect them.
