The benefits of corporate membership

The Corporate Membership scheme enables companies and their employees to benefit in many ways, including a healthier workforce and an improved image with customers, suppliers and employees. The benefits are listed below:

Improved image

• Everyone likes a caring organisation that looks after and values its staff. Your company will rise in the eyes of its work force, customers, suppliers and potential recruits by joining as a corporate member.

Reduced absenteeism

• By encouraging your employees to regularly undertake exercise you are promoting good health in your work force. One of the long-term benefits of corporate membership should be a reduction in the number of days taken sick throughout the year.

Positive employee relations

• By offering corporate membership, you are encouraging staff to socialise and mix outside work time. This should increase morale, improve teamwork, create new partnerships and improve co-operation.

Health related benefits

• Exercise can make you feel good and improve fitness, stamina, reduce illness and increase motivation. By using the leisure facilities and participating in the wide range of activities available all your staff should benefit. An active lifestyle should also help to reduce stress levels.

How Corporate Membership works

• Your organisation pays a lump sum of money into the scheme, which entitles your staff to reduced rates on activities at Hood Park, Hermitage and Measham Leisure Centres. Of this initial sum, we will top this up by another 50% to a maximum of £250.
  
  
• Your organisation decides whether it wants to give its workforce a discount of 25%, 50% or 100% on these activities at the centres.
  
  
• A personal Corporate Membership card is then issued to all your staff.
  
  
• This card then gives your employees the discount off chosen activities on production of the card. The discount saving to staff is then taken off the lump sum paid at the start.
  
  
• When the lump sum is reduced to £25, we contact you to discuss continuing the corporate membership package.
  
  
• As an extra facility, we will monitor who uses the scheme giving you data on who, when, where, and what activities.
