What is Fairtrade?

Fairtrade market stand Fairtrade is a tool for development that ensures disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries get a better deal through the use of the international FAIRTRADE Mark.

How do I know if something is Fairtrade?

Fairtrade LogoJust look for the logo. If it's fairly traded, it will have a Fairtrade label on it. And with many supermarkets now offering only Fairtrade lines in their products, it's never been easier to buy Fairtrade.
