Donate to Charity

A local charity initiatvie based at teh Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville called REACT will collect good quality furntirure and large white goods free of charge from housholders in the district. For more infomration contact 01530 510515.

Retailer Takeback Schemes

Most reputable retailers now offer a 'takeback scheme' sometimes free of charge. For example, if you buy a fridge freezer and have it delivered to your home the more reputable retailer may offer to colelct your old fridge freezer. It is definitely worth enquiring about as often these services are free of charge!

Recycling and household waste sites

Items can be disposed of free of charge at any of these sites. the nearest sites are in Lount, Colaville, and Shepshed. Trailers over 4'6" in length, vans and commercial nehicles arequire a free permit before visiting the site.
