Shape future support by letting us know how your home is holding up

Residents in North West Leicestershire are being asked to share information about the condition of their privately owned or rented properties.

By completing a simple survey – which could land participants a £50 shopping voucher – residents will be telling North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) where support should be targeted. This could be anything from local insulation schemes to developing advice and handyman schemes.

Glyn Jones, Director of Housing at NWLDC, said: “It is easy to assume that we are only interested in our council homes and supporting those that rent from us – but this is far from the case.

“We look to support private residents who require assistance and seek to secure funding that can be used to make improvements, where needed, to homes across the district.

“We need residents to tell us the type of support that would most benefit them so that together we can decide on the best solutions for them.

“It is quick and easy to complete the survey and prizes are up for grabs as an added incentive to take part.”

One lucky entrant will receive a £50 shopping voucher. The winner will be chosen at random.
