Reopening safely - COVID-19 Secure Guidelines

From 12 April, outdoors areas at hospitality venues such as cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, social clubs have been allowed to reopen providing they adhere to COVID Secure guidelines.

Businesses can only reopen once they have completed a risk assessment, in consultation with trade union representatives or workers, and are confident they are managing the risks. They must have taken the necessary steps to become COVID-19 secure in line with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Resturants, bars and pubs also need to ensure they are following the guidance on outdoor shelters, serving alcohol and offering takeaway and click and collect services.
