Car parking - Coalville

We have a number of short stay and long stay car parks in Coalville

Blue badge holders and motorcycles are exempt from any parking charges. All other parking regulations must be followed.

Some of our car parks have designed free parking bays, these are highlighted and allow either 30 minutes or an hour of free parking. 

Parking in Market Hall Car Park is free for the first two hours, no ticket is required.

Payment 

All of our car parks are cashless, our parking machines only accept payment via contactless cards, we stopped taking coin payments in March 2020.

You can now pay for your parking in our car parks by using the PayByPhone app or by calling their phone line. Stickers are on the pay and display machines with instructions on what you need to do.

Electric Vehicle charging

Four spaces are available for electric vehicles in Margaret Street Car Park. 

Users of the electric charging points are charged per kilowatt hour of charging. Users must also pay for their parking.
