Welcome to North West Leicestershire District Council's Council Tax Service.

Our Revenues Team is part of the Leicestershire Revenues & Benefits Partnership, which has been formed by three Local Authorities to work together to provide better services to the residents of North West Leicestershire District Council, Harborough District Council and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.

Our staff deal with the registration, billing and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates. The team updates our Council Tax and Business Rates database when people move into or out of the district; apply for discounts; exemptions or reliefs; or change their payment method. The team deal with complex billing and recovery enquiries. Our customer services team deal with all initial Council Tax enquiries by phone or in person at the council offices. All Business Rates enquiries are dealt with by the Revenues Team. We are committed to providing you with an excellent level of service by making sure that you are given clear and consistent information, with all changes and enquiries being dealt with promptly and accurately. All Council Tax and Business Rates matters are dealt with in the strictest confidence.
