Planning & Development

The Planning & Development section processes applications for planning permission and similar consents, such as listed building consent and advertisement consent. The responsiblity for enforcing planning control when breaches of it take place is undertaken by Community Services - Street Action.

Applications for planning permission and other related consents are considered against the policies of the Development Plan, including the North West Leicestershire Local Plan and other material considerations, including Government policy (including Planning Policy Guidance Notes and Planning Policy Statements).
