New Changing Facilities for People with Disabilities Open at Hermitage Leisure Centre
After 5 months of building works, the Hermitage Leisure Centre has re-opened is brand new wetside changing rooms and health suite. Following the investment, the changing facilities at the leisure centre have been extensively developed to include a superb, dedicated changing room for people with a disability. Featuring a changing bed, toilet ,shower area, motorised hoist and wheelchair friendly lockers this new area offers all the facilities that you would need to make your swim enjoyable.

If you have a disability then don't forget to see if you can qualify for the leisure link scheme as you could save money each time you attend the leisure centre and qualify for free swimming.

Dedicated Swimming Sessions for People with Disabilities
Day - Thursday
Time - 7 until 8pm
Have a Go Club
The Have a go club is a multi sports activity session for adults who have physical and or mental needs
Day - Thursday
Time - 1.30 until 3pm
Cost - £2.40
Activities - Short mat bowls, badminton, table top games, football, basketball, swimming, boccia and curling.
Autistic Session
The autistic session is a multi sports activity session for children who have autism and their family.
Day - Monday
Time - 5.30 until 6.30pm
Cost - £2.40
Activities - Soft play, bouncy castle, sports games, cricket and football.

Dedicated Swimming Sessions for People with Disabilities
Day - Saturday
Time - 6.15 until 7.30pm
Junior Have a Go Club
The junior have a go club session is a multi sports activity session for children aged 7 - 16 years with physical or mental needs.
Day - Thursday
Time - 5 until 6pm
Cost - £2.40
Activities - Boccia, skittles, football, kurling and table top games.
Activities on Offer at Castle Donington Community College
Space Session
The SPACE session is a supervised safe play session for children within the autistic spectrum.
Day - Saturday (1st and 3rd of each month). Please note that this changes to Thursdays during the school holidays
Time - 10am until 12noon
Cost - £3
Activities - Trampoline, bouncy castle, balls, climbing frame, rope swing, sports games and arts and crafts
