Some of these services are provided by partner organisations such as Better Business for All, whilst many others are the Council's own services such as Health and Safety, Planning, Licensing and Business Rates.

Leicestershire County Council Trading Standards can offer help to ensure credit advertisements are legal, agreements are correctly made and cancellation notices are given when appropriate. As well as many other legal requirements relating to credit.

Building Control is responsible for administering the Building Regulations within the district and offers guidance on how to comply with the legislation and standards.

North West Leicestershire District Council can advise on the requirements for temperature control, storage, avoiding contamination, delivery of food and setting up a food business. All food businesses need to register with North West Leicestershire District Council.
