Outdoor Pool Set to Open Today - Wednesday 23rd at 3.30pm.

Grab your swimming kit and get down to the outdoor pool this week. Opening today from 3.30 until 6pm and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 - 6pm don't forget your sun cream! Admission price for junior  £1.

Located in Ashby de la Zouch, Hood Park Leisure Centre offers a wide range of facilities and services to the residents of North West Leicestershire. Facilities on offer include:

• Indoor Swimming Pool

• Evolution fitness suite

Outdoor Pool Set to Open

The opening of the fantastic outdoor pool at Hood Park Leisure Centre has just been announced and will see the pool opening on Saturday 2^nd June for this years season. If you are looking for something exciting to do with your friends or on your own over the extended bank holiday weekend then why not come along and join in all the fun. There will be rafts and floats in the pool from 11am with a poolside BBQ from 12noon. If the sun’s shining then don’t forget to bring your sun tan cream with you as the patio areas around the pool are a great sun trap to top up your tan!

Admission all day cost only just £1 and if you are a member of the Club Activ8 scheme then don’t forget that you can use your Activ8 points to pay!

June half term Learn to Swim Crash Courses on offer NOW

From Monday 4^th June, Hood Park Leisure Centre will be offering a week long learn to swim crash course for children. Classes will be held Monday to Friday from 9-9.30am and the one week crash course will cost only £25.This set of classes is suitable for children who are complete begineers and places do go quickly so please call NOW for more information by contacting Hood Park Leisure Centre on 01530 412181 or email hoodparklc@nwleicestershire.gov.uk.

Calling all fitness members. Earn yourself £20.12 NOW!

To celebrate London 2012, Hermitage and Hood Park Leisure Centres are offering an Olympic offer that will earn you £20.12. If you fancy earning £20.12, simply refer a friend to the fantastic fitness membership scheme. Once your friend has joined up to either the Aqua fitness or Active Fitness Plus membership package and their direct debit is being claimed, you will receive a fantastic £20.12 money back in to your account. Childrens Holiday Activity Programme Launched

If you are looking for exciting activities for your children to get involved with over the holidays then why not have a look at what the leisure facilities across North West Leicestershire have to offer. There will be plenty to get involved with for all ages from activity camps to trips and arts and crafts to pool inflatable. What's more, don't forget that if you are a member of the Club Activ8 scheme then you can redeem your loyalty points against identified activities.
