Ibstock Leisure Complex
Ibstock Leisure Complex is a dual use facility run jointly by North West Leicestershire District Council and the college for the benefit of all people living in Ibstock and the surrounding area. At present Ibstock Community College's swimming pool facilities are closed and undergoing a major re-build thanks to a grant of £1.2 million awarded by Sport England. The project includes:
- Replacing the pool roof and side structures
- Relocating of the wet side changing rooms to the shallow end of the pool
- Extending the spectator area to run along the length of the pool
- Relocating the leisure complex reception
- Refurbishing the dry-side changing rooms
- Converting the existing wet side changing rooms into a store and staff changing facilities
