Fishing is possible along the entire length of the canal on the opposite bank to the towpath so as to avoid fishing tackle being placed in the way of walkers.
Fishing tickets are available from the museum shop or Furnace office or purchase an annual season ticket.
The fish that are in the canal are bream, roach and tench.
