How To Get Involved

We aim to provide excellent services to all of our customers and we will work with tenants and leaseholders to deliver homes and services that meet the aspirations of the people of North West Leicestershire.

We are always looking for people to work with us, you can tell us what you think and influence our service. More details can be found in this leaflet:

We are dedicated to making it easier for you to get involved in shaping the services we provide, to ensure we deliver efficient and effective services.

By getting involved

You can have a direct input into the housing decisions that affect you, for example the repairs service, home improvements, standards of service and housing policies.

• Make your area a better place to live, for example by helping to beat vandalism, or improve your environment.
• Help tackle local issues that affect you such as nuisance, car parking, safety and security. Help us provide a better quality,customer focussed housing service.
• Receive training and skills.
• Promote equal opportunities in you community.

How to get involved

There are a number of ways to get involved, some you may already be aware of.

• Respond to questionnaires in a freepost envelope.
• Receive information on various issues including policies and procedures.
• Becoming a mystery shopper - training would be provided.
• Inspecting void properties or work undertaken by our parks department(grass cutting etc.)Training would be provided.
• Becoming a member of your local Tenant and Resident Association.
• Become a member of a focus group looking at an aspect of the service such as equalities, disabled access or minority ethnic issues.Training can be provided.
