Services in North West Leicestershire
For over 21 years our Tourist Information Centre in Ashby de la Zouch has formed an integral part of the local community and is vital in the promotion of North West Leicestershire to both visitors and residents.
The centre is open Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm and Saturday 9.30am-4pm. It is closed Wednesdays and Sundays, bank holiday Mondays and Easter Friday. Located in the foyer of Ashby Library on North Street, Ashby LE65 1HU

Ashby de la Zouch and the surrounding area lies at the Heart of the flourishing National Forest. Our forest themed Tourist Information Centre is one of the 'Gateways' promoting this area of national importance.
This diverse cultural corner of Leicestershire boasts enormous diversity including, heritage and history, amazing places to visit, miles of hidden nature trails and days out to delight everyone.
Facilities within the centre include information panels and an innovative touch screen for residents and visitors to find out more about the National Forest and local area. The staff work in partnership with East Midlands Tourism, the National Forest Company and Leicester Shire Promotions. The centre has wheelchair access, provides a hearing loop system, and has large print guides on request.

The Ashby de la Zouch Tourist Information team has won a prestigious Tourism Oscar at the East Midlands Tourism Enjoy England Excellence Awards, staged at the Derby Roundhouse on 7th October 2010. The service won Gold in the Tourist Information category, beating other finalists, Ollerton TIC in Nottingham (Silver) and Castleton TIC in Derbyshire (Bronze). Congratulations to the team - Kathy, Anne, Lesley and Susan.
