Building Regulations - Public Access System
Public Access for Building Regulations applications is an Internet service that allows you to view certain information that has been submitted to the Council under the Building Regulations 2000 & 2010, or the Building (Approved Inspector etc) Regulations 1998 & 2010.
Limitations
Building Regulation applications submitted to, or deposited with, a local authority where the local authority is the Building Control Body are not yet public records, although the information may be released under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and/or the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The information contained on this system does not currently include scanned images of application forms or drawings. Public access is also only linked to our current database which has been in use since around June 2003. Applications prior to that date will not be displayed unless the application has been manually transferred to the current database. Please note that this information may be incomplete.
Until our records are entirely transferred onto a single database, we would advise you to contact the Council's Land Charges section on 01530 454513 or e-mail: landcharges@nwleicestershire.gov.uk for a more comprehensive property history search.
Public Access is available online between 7:00am and 11:00pm seven days a week.
No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the history information obtained from Public Access. Similarly the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a Building Regulation decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer's own risk.
