Voice of Young People in North West Leicestershire

North West Leicestershire has a variety of youth forums and groups that all contribute to making sure that young people are heard by the council and by other agencies such as the youth service and voluntary groups.

Get Involved

In November we hold our annual Youth conference where young people from the district Secondary school councils look at their priorities and issues and are involved in making decisions about the work that the council does.

There is also a small group called Your Voice NWL where young people are consulted on council issues, help to plan for the future and organise events such as battle of the bands.

If you are interested in coming to the conference, want to make sure that your voice is heard or would like to represent young people in your area, please get in touch with Claire MacRory-Smith.  claire.macrory@nwleicestershire.gov.uk
