Waste Collection Commitment
Waste Collection Commitment
The Waste Collection Commitment sets out in plain English the principles which should underlie domestic waste and recycling collection services. By signing up to this voluntary service commitment North West Leicestershire is committing to ensuring that the needs of its residents are central to the design and delivery of their waste and recycling collection services.
We were one of the first Councils to sign up to the Commitment, we already meet most of the criteria and there is considerable work being done to meet all aspects of the commitment. It is also important to work hard to keep our standards as high as possible. If you want to read more on the Commitment, or see the signed document, see the related documents below.
The commitment was signed by Councillor Alison Smith as the Portfolio Holder for the Environment, and it is displayed in the reception of the council offices in Coalville.
