Waste Collection Commitment (signed)

The Waste Collection Commitment sets out in plain English the principles which form the basis of domestic waste and recycling collection services.

By signing up to this voluntary service commitment, we are committing to making sure the needs of our residents are central to the design and delivery of their waste and recycling collection services.

We were one of the first councils to sign up. We already meet most of the criteria - and we are doing a lot of work to meet all aspects of the commitment.  The commitment was signed by Councillor Alison Smith MBE as the Portfolio Holder for the Environment, and it is displayed in the reception of the council offices in Coalville.

If you want to read more on the commitment, or see the signed document, see the related documents at the end of this page.
