Coalville's Big Tidy Up
The first ever organised Coalville litter pick is happening on Saturday 5 March in line with Keep Britain Tidy’s Clean for the Queen events, which are taking place across the country.
We are leading the first organised community litter pick for the centre of Coalville and are asking individuals and groups alike to get involved.
We are asking all volunteers and groups to meet at the clock tower in Memorial Square at 9.30am where equipment will be given out; instructions of litter picking zones and an opportunity to meet the rest of those litter picking warriors.
10am will see the Coalville Big Tidy Up begin as groups go their separate way to make the town a cleaner place. After two hours everyone is encouraged to come back to the clock tower where there will be music by Hermitage FM as well as various other things arranged by the council.
