An introduction

CyclingThere is compelling evidence of the benefit of moderate intensity physical activity, such as walking and cycling. Those who participate regularly, enjoy considerably longer life expectancy and improved mental health; for example, regular walking has been shown to relieve stress and half the risk of developing heart disease.

Active Together Programme

Active Together is a county wide scheme designed to get more people involved in physical activity 3x 30 minutes a week in 7 districts/boroughs across Leicestershire. Active Together North West Leicestershire provides physical activity sessions in varied community venues and outdoors for you to take part in either for free or at a small fee.
