Come and listen to the sounds of brass in our local parks this Summer! Bring a rug or a chair, a drink and be prepared for the weather. All concerts are FREE with parking nearby.

Brass Band Blast! at Moira Furnace with Melbourne Town Band at 12noon and Leics Co-op Band at 2.15pm Spend the whole afternoon enjoying the music in the beautiful surroundings of Moira Furnace canal, woods and country park. Moira Furnace tea rooms and craft village open.
The Moira Furnace Folk Festival at the heart of the National Forest takes place at Moira Furnace located on the Leicestershire/ Derbyshire border, one of the most picturesque settings in the industrial midlands. The festival features some well known and talented main acts, plus local and national, up and coming artists.
As part of the Summer Holiday Programme and the Ashby Arts Festival a week of arts activities have been programmed in Ashby.
