Ashby Rugby Club receives planning permission for clubhouse extension

Ashby Rugby Club has received planning permission to extend its clubhouse and changing facilities following the North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) Planning Committee meeting on Tuesday 4 September 2018.

The extension will allow the club to create new changing rooms, showers, toilets and a physio / first aid room.

The committee also confirmed a Tree Preservation Order requested by Coleorton Parish Council to protect a number of trees near Overton Close in the village. The parish council intends to create a woodland management plan for the trees and has requested the additional protection to ensure they are treated properly.
