Independent food and drink businesses in Ashby and Coalville are being invited to a free workshop to pick up tips and inspiration to help their businesses grow.
Suitable for business owners, manager and supervisors the two-hour event will explore the tactics that can be used to increase footfall, average spend and repeat purchases into businesses in both towns.
It has been organised by North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) with training by retail and business experts from leading retail consultancy firm Kerching.
Specific topics include:
- Pricing strategies
- Digital marketing
- Retention strategies
- How to increase average spend.
It will take place between 5.30pm and 8pm on Monday 22 October at the Heartwood Conferencing Centre in Rothley House at Coalville Business Park. LE67 3NR.
Councillor Tony Gillard, Portfolio Holder for Business at NWLDC, said: “Small independent businesses are so important to our towns and we play an important role in stimulating their growth.
“This is a free event for these businesses and it will contain tips and ideas that could make a real difference to the prosperity and success they enjoy. The experts delivering the workshop have years of experience and this is a great opportunity to tap into that knowledge.”
Many businesses have attended similar workshops in the past and provided feedback on the event.
