The annual Remembrance Day Service and parade will take place on Sunday 10 November.
The parade leaves Christ Church and heads to the Memorial Square War Memorial at around 10.35am for the Service of Remembrance and wreath laying. This is followed by the parade returning to the Council Offices car park for the salute and dismissal. Members of the public are welcome to join the service at the War Memorial.
The roads leading to the War Memorial will be closed from 10.30am until 12 noon. These include, London Road, Park Road, Victoria Road, Albert Road, Whitwick Road (partial), High Street, Mantle Lane from the bridge, Belvoir Road, (from railway crossing), and part of Ashby Road.
Motorists will need to follow the diversion route.
