NWL Local sports Alliance and District Council want to be there to support our workforce and athletes. We understand that upskilling and pursing a sporting career take great commitment and dedication, so let us see if we can help. We have two grant schemes that might just be able to help you take that next step.
*Please note these grant schemes are now open once again. See below for more information.
Coaching and Leadership Education Grant Scheme
Our sports clubs would not function without the expert coaches, leaders and volunteers that are at their hearts. But there are always ways to develop yourself and your career further, however we know coaching qualifications and courses can be expensive. That is why we have our North West Leicestershire Local Sports Alliance, Coaching and Leadership Education Grant Scheme. So that we can support the workforce of NWL to continue to learn and develop, helping to inspire our communities to live healthy, active lifestyles.
This scheme supports coaches, volunteers and leaders to gain coaching, leadership and officiating qualifications. For more information and to apply simply download the leaflet below. *Please send any applications to Emily Rodbourne - firstname.lastname@example.org

Talented Athlete Grant Scheme
Using our performance Level Tier 4 Grants, we want to support the young sporting talent of NWL to flourish and thrive in the world of sport. Training costs, travel, equipment and competition fees all quickly mount up and we don't want these to stop our athletes from achieving their potential. Our Talented Athlete Grant Scheme is there to help so that our sports stars can follow their dreams.
This scheme supports young talented athletes to keep pursing their sporting careers by providing finance to help with the associated costs. For more information and to apply simply download the leaflet below. *Please send any applications to Emily Rodbourne - email@example.com
