When paying Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Fees 2024-25 (PDF Document, 0.1 Mb) please be aware that we do NOT accept cash. The following payment methods will be accepted:
- Cheque – Made payable to ‘NWLDC’
- Visiting the Council Offices and paying with credit or debit card
- Pay online – follow the various links until you reach the main payment page. All the taxi fees are under the ‘Miscellaneous Income’ heading. Please select the item heading that matches the fee you want to pay. The specific fee will be automatically displayed and then follow the page instructions.

From 28th March 2022 the new Hackney Carriage Fares (PDF Document, 0.1 Mb) took effect.
