Aimed at keeping residents of sheltered accommodations healthy and active.
Our mobility classes give you the opportunity to be active and help you to stay independent. A chance to mobilise your joints, increase your strength and socialise. These classes involve a mix of seated and standing exercises each week, as well as some activity bingo. You don’t have to be a resident to join in.
We currently have the following FREE mobility classes in sheltered accommodation venues:
Wakefield Court, Castle Donington (DE74 2PE) - Monday 1pm-2pm
This class alternates activities and involves one week of chair aerobics (mostly seated exercise but standing can be performed), and one week of activity bingo (seated exercises).
Hood Court, Ashby de la Zouch (LE65 1HY) - Friday 1pm-2pm
This class involves seated chair aerobics every week.

Activity Bingo every week:
This class involves a game of bingo with a twist every week. If an exercise number ball comes out then you can tick it off if you have it, but everyone also completes a seated exercise.
Parkview, Whitwick (LE67 5DJ) - Wednesday 2pm-3pm
You can see the sessions we currently have below or you can download our poster for yourself, and to share here Activity Bingo (PDF Document, 1.11 Mb)
