We’ve been focusing on supporting our night-time ecenomy to reopen safely on Saturday 4th July. This page provides Government guidance on how you can make your business COVID-19 secure and the resources we’ve been providing to help you trade safely and keep your customers safe.

Reopening safely - COVID-19 Secure Guidelines

From Saturday 4 July, the Prime Minister has announced that pubs and restaurants will be able to reopen, providing they adhere to COVID Secure guidelines.

Businesses can only reopen once they have completed a risk assessment, in consultation with trade union representatives or workers, and are confident they are managing the risks. They must have taken the necessary steps to become COVID-19 secure in line with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Resturants, bars and pubs also need to ensure they are following the Guidance for food businesses including the latest measures announced on 22 September.

We have been in contact with the majority of our public houses across the district to offer support and materials ahead of their re-opening. We have been offering out the following so keep an eye out as you may see some when you next visit!
