Council launches new Local Plan consultation

North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) has launched an eight-week consultation on its draft Local Plan.

The Local Plan sets out the district’s housing and employment land targets to at least 2042.

Members of the public, businesses and key stakeholders are invited to review the supporting information and submit their views to the council by 5pm on Friday 11 September.

All supporting information and the consultation can be accessed at nwleics.gov.uk/localplanconsultation

Paper copies are available in the following locations:

·      Parish councils with offices, including Ashby Town Council, Castle Donington Parish Council, Kegworth Parish Council, Measham Parish Council and Whitwick Parish Council
