Our Communications Team works with local, regional and national media to promote the council’s activities.
We also use our website, social media and advertising to let people know about any news, events and projects.
All media enquiries about council services, events or projects must come through the Communications Team, which is available from 9am to 5pm every weekday.
We can help with:
- Interview requests
- Comments for news stories
- Filming locations
- Photography of the district
- Supporting statistical information
We like to use local photography online and in our printed materials wherever possible, and may be able to supply local media organisations with imagery on request.
A number of local photography enthusiasts contribute to our image library, allowing us to use their pictures of the district in return for the appropriate credit.
