Recycling and Household Waste Sites

There are two Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) in this district, one in Coalville and one in Lount, nr Ashby. The sites are to be used by the public to dispose of their own waste, the sites are open from 8am-8pm (April-October) and 8am-6pm (November-March).

This site is anticipated to be closed for approximately six months to undertake these works, re-opening early in 2012.
Bringbanks Sites

There are over 40 recycling sites in the district, so if you want to recycle your tetra-paks, or reuse your old clothes then this is the right place to find out more. There is a certain number of materials that appear frequently at our recycling sites, because so many residents want to recycle. Glass, paper and textiles are some of the most popular banks to have at a recycling site. You can also find tetra-pak, books and music banks, and even some banks to recycle your old shoes.
