Historic Buildings Grant Scheme

The District Council has in the past operated a discretionary grants scheme in relation to repairs to listed properties and in respect of unlisted buildings within Conservation Areas which are considered to be of architectural or historic interest and may do so again at some time in the future. However, there is currently no budget allocation for the scheme.

Nevertheless, a similar grant scheme - the Shire Historic Buildings Grant - is operated by Leicestershire County Council's Historic and Natural Environment Team.
