Facilities in North West Leicestershire

The District Council provides and maintains two lots of toilets within the district. They have disabled facilities and operate the Radar Key Scheme. The toilets are attended during opening hours.

Congratulations to the staff at the Derby Road toilets in Ashby on being awarded five stars in the 2009 Loo of the Year awards. Well done and keep up the good work.

Loo of the Year Award 2009

incorporating Attendant of the Year Award 2009

The Loo of the Year Awards were held in Birmingham in December. The awards continue to attract enormous interest from all quarters - providers, users and the media.

There are a range of National Awards, as well as accompanying Attendant of the Year Awards, for the cleaning staff who look after each facility - the unsung hero's and heroines.
