Historic Parks and Gardens
Historic Parks and Gardens are listed in a similar way to buildings, with Grades I, II* and II entries on the Register of Parks and Gardens.
As with listed buildings, the selection is made nationally rather than by the Council. Inclusion on the Register does not bring with it any additional planning controls but is a material consideration when deciding planning applications which affect them.
There are three Registered Historic Parks and Gardens in North West Leicestershire. Clicking on the name will take you to a description and map of the respective garden:-
