A bold and ambitious future for Coalville

The projects listed in the Regeneration Framework will boost the Town Centre, encourage visitors and inward investment, and ultimately will level up Coalville to play a prominent role in the wider district economy. 

This work responds to the demand for new housing but also to the needs of existing residents, businesses and visitors. 

Improvements to public realm, an expanded leisure offering, improved connectivity and regenerated buildings will all serve to increase footfall and dwell time, helping to revitalise the town centre and create spaces people want to use, rather than going elsewhere.
