The Ask VAL – VCSE Advice, Guidance & Solution sessions, are designed to bring VAL’s services to Leicestershire communities and to connect with local VCSE sector organisations, local community stakeholders and key partners to allow us all to work collaboratively. These events combine briefing sessions, training updates and networking opportunities.
This ASK VAL session will take place in Castle Donington in North West Leicestershire.
It will give you an opportunity to:
Listen to a presentation on the top tips to applying for small grant funding
Hear about North West Leicestershire District Council’s grant scheme
Attend a mini-training session on Recruiting Volunteer and Promoting Volunteering Opportunities
Take part in a workshop discussion on needs of local communities and VCSE groups
Network with other local organisations
Share information on your offers to local people and other groups
The event will start at 5.30pm. Free parking is available on site.
