Coalville's Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club

The Coalville Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club  meets up at 9.30am on every last Saturday of every month.

The club meets at the Hermitage FM Community Café, Memorial Square, Coalville LE67 3TU.

The Breakfast Clubs are not affiliated with any charity or business, and so are not externally funded. You only pay for what you want. Whether it be a brew, an egg banjo, or a full breakfast. There are no joining fees and no hidden costs. The core ethos of the venture is the welfare and mutual support of its members.

Once We Were Soldiers, The Royal British Legion, and Hermitage FM Community Cafe, together with North West Leicestershire District Council are all supporting Coalville’s first Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club.

How to join the Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Clubs

New members can just head to Hermitage FM Community Cafe on Memorial Square in Coalville at 9.30am on the last Saturday of the month. There is no need to book a place.

You can also find out what’s on and can join the club by applying on the local Coalville Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Clubs Facebook group.

National Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Clubs

Nationally, Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Clubs have representatives from all branches of the Armed Forces. As long as you have a service history, or association, then you will be made welcome.

Fergus Kenny from the Once We Were Soldiers homeless charity said: "People don’t know how many veterans there are out there, but they need somewhere where they can meet regularly and support each other."
