From Thursday 5 November, non-essential shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. will be closing which means we’ll no longer be able to support our local businesses as we normally would.
Our 30 Days 30 Businesses campaign aims to raise the profiles of businesses in our local towns and villages during lockdown so that we can be there to support them when they re-open.
Throughout November, we’ll be asking business owners in North West Leicestershire to get in touch to explain their passion in detail and why people should choose to spend locally with them. In return, we’ll pick a November day to shout about your business on our social media channels. In all, we intend to feature 30 different businesses on the 30 days of November.
Participating businesses ideally need have a physical presence that people can visit while out in town or villages centres once lockdown is over. This promotion is about bringing people out to spend locally to help businesses recover, benefiting both you and the other amenities around you.
- Food outlets
- Hair salons
- Beauty salons
- Charity shops
- Market stalls
To get involved, you will need to use the form below to submit your business along with at least one good-quality image which you are happy for us to use on social media. This could be of a member of the team serving behind the till, pulling a pint, gathered outside your shop, etc.
We will also need to know what your business does, where you are located so customers can find you easily and your social media handles so we can tag you in the post.
Many businesses in the district will be adapting to the restrictions by offering takeaway or delivery and click and collect services - if this is the case, please tell us so we can let people know how they can support your business during lockdown.
If you have any questions about the campaign and would like to contact us directly, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org
