Being physically active every day is important for the healthy growth and development of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. For this age group, activity of any intensity should be encouraged, including light activity and more energetic physical activity. There's lots of activites in our area that you can get involved in:
- Little Dragons Soft Play - Marleine Reid Centre, Coalville, mornings 9.30-11.30am or afternoons 12.30-2.30pm. £4 per child. (6months - 5 years)
Rugby Tots - Rugby classes in Coalville and Ashby, various times available. £7.00 per session. Suitable for age 2 and above.
Coalville Town Soccer School - Newbridge School. From age 3. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
- Girls- Wednesdays 6-7pm
- Boys - Fridays 5-6pm
Super Star Sport - Tots football - Kegworth Village Hall. Suitable for ages 2-5. Every Tuesday 5.15pm - 6.00pm. Text 07963 324 799 to book your place.
Everyone Active swimming lessons - Hermitage Leisure Centre and Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido. Lessons can start for children aged from just four months old.
Rebound Rascals, Asbhy De La Zouch - trampoline sessions for children that are walking to 6 years old. £8 per session, includes 1 child and 1 adult.
B-Buddies - Balance Buddies Club - children age 18 months to 7 years can learn how to balance on 2 wheels as well as brake, steer and other skills.

Hicks Lodge, Ashby De La Zouch - Follow the Gruffalo Trail from the start of the Lake Loop. Trail activity packs are available to purchase from the café or bike shop during opening times and cost just £3.50.
Outdoor play areas - if you are looking for somewhere to go for relaxation at the weekend or on a summers evening then look no further than the parks. Find your local park
